Thank You Treat Box

Some of you may know that today was my day of having foot surgery (pesky bunion be gone!). Of course I am writing this post the day before since I am guessing I won't be up to do much of anything on the day of surgery. Don't think I won't have anything to post for you for a while... Nope, I do have stuff for you! I've participated in a Holiday card swap and will post samples for you to look at. So please do come back as usual.

For today's project, I wanted to make a little gift/treat box to give to a fellow pet sitting colleague who is going to take over for me for one special pet stop that I do lots of times and long term. So I left this treat for her Sunday night... as she is taking over Monday morning.

Here is the little box that I made with the "gift bag punch board":

It does not show up well, but I put the tag over the top of the box, and box is held closed with mini glue dots. Here is a view of the tag that shows you that I've also added a strip of DSP to the inside of the tag so it would blend in with the front of the box better:
