Blossoms in Bloom - Sneak Peek

It's always fun to play with new toys. And yesterday I used the "Blossoms in Bloom" bundle that will be in the new catalog...

I wanted to see if I could stamp the image and then cut it out with the bolder die. It didn't turn out bad, but wanted the centers of the flowers to be colored solid so I used the light Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends marker and colored them in ;-)  sooo easy!

Celebrate Sunflowers sneak peak

Yesterday we had our online Zoom craft session and this time I presented the ladies with a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. I will post my chart below so you can play as well if you like...

But here is my card that showcases the "Celebrate Sunflowers" bundle from the upcoming catalog. Which I had to have right away... I LOVE sunflowers...

In a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge you are presented with 9 squares. Each of them has a different option and you are supposed to pick 3 of them (across, down/up, or diagonally) and use on your card. I chose the one on the top... banner, distress, splatter

These challenges are a lot of fun and give you inspiration for a starting point... or to try out something new to you... Give it a try!

Beauty Abounds

Here is another little sneak peek of an item that's in the upcoming occasions catalog. I have to admit I didn't order the "Beauty Abounds" bundle in my first order, because I thought I would always have to use the large butterfly grouping as a whole. I ordered it on my second go around because, well .... butterflies! And I am glad I did!

Here is the card I made

And I am using a SINGLE butterfly from the group... I just gave it a try... die-cut the whole group and then cut the butterflies apart using scissors. And, guess what, not only can you do it, but it's very easy too!

So if you have looked at it in the catalog, but thought nope I won't use that big die that often... Think again... I can make 4 more cards from this 1 cut!
