Today was all about using up scraps and retiring colors... while performing an experiment LOL. Here is the card I came up with on the fly...

Storm Irma inspired

While we are not experiencing the storm full force here in George, we still had lots of rain and possibly more to come tonight. I am glad so far it was milder than expected!

But with all the water flow, I was inspired to make the background for this card:

I did some direct to paper smooshing on glossy white cardstock first with Bermuda Bay ink and then with Dapper Denim ink... splashed some Wink of Stella over it and then spritzed it with rubbing alcohol to make it all run some more...

Painted Harvest not just for Fall

Soooo I still had one piece of pretty background left from this card posted here. And I decided to simply stamp in black over it....

I think the picture below might show it better that I've used the "Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate" over black cardstock...and the dragonfly was stamped on glossy cardstock then die-cut and popped up.
