Botanical Butterfly and Dear Doily

Today I made some little gifts for my Monday night stamp club ladies as we are starting over with a new round of club. This is my little Thank you to them for being a club member....

It's a clear 4 by 6 photo frame (that stands up)

I made a variety of colors

And in case you were wondering where the butterflies came from.... look:

The punch works pretty well with the Designer Series Paper that you can earn for free during Sale-a-Bration...

And this is what it looks like with a photo in it

Way easy and fast little gift

Today's post will show you the simplest of gifts. I almost didn't want to post it because I didn't think it would spark your interest. BUT, then I thought everyone is looking to make cute but fast little gifts these days...

So here it is:

It's just a candy cane (well a chocolate mint one that is!) on a tag with some cute decoration. This is my little gift to my stamp club members this month that they'll get in their order bags to show my appreciation.

I have to admit that I cheated a little bit... I cut all the tags (40+) electronically with my Silhouette Cameo. BUT if you don't have to make quite that many you can use one of our tag topper punches and cut 2 silts in the center where the candy cane was inserted...

So don't stress if you need to make multiples... you can go the simple way...make it cute and sparkly, and after all...it's the thought that counts, right?!

Short box and no stamping

Today I am sharing a quick short Christmas box with you that I made to put a little ring dish into. And I was so thrilled that it worked perfectly!

Here is the end result:

I made to box with the gift box punch board using the 12x12 Kraft sheets. It used a sheet 9x9 and I had extra to make the band that goes around for the closure.. Once assembled, I simple decorated the sides with Designer Series paper. So easy!

The Poinsettia was punched with the Festive Flower Punch from red glimmer paper. And I put it together using hot glue and my silicone mat..

Here is a little collage for you:

ICS Blog Hop Perfectly Packaged

Welcome to this month's round of blog hop by "Inspire, create & share". If you read my blog in an email, you want to click over to the blog so you can see all the picture and also the button to click to the next blog...

The theme this month is "perfectly packaged". And I am so very excited to show you project! It may just seem like an ordinary "boring" box, but be assured it's not...

... because I created it to fit around my pretty ornament:

Now if you simply wanted to take a looksy at my project and hop on over to Joni Metra, you can do that by clicking the button below. Or you can scroll down, read over the instructions and then come back up and continue with the hop... I am sure we are in for a real treat today with all the projects!

Instructions for the box:
A 12x12 piece of cardstock was scored with box punch board to make the largest box (4x4). Just follow the lines on the board!

To make and insert for the ornament to sit on, an 6 1/8 square piece of CS was used:

Tips for the plastic ornament:
-  The half of the ornament that will fit inside the other half was used to trace a circle on scrap CS to create a template
-  circle was cut out by hand following along the INSIDE of the traced line to make circle smaller so it will sit on inside of rim
-  Template was traced onto Vellum CS and cut out (minor adjustment cuts may be needed to make it fit better)
-  Vellum Circle was textured
-  Sleigh was die cut from Smoky Slate CS, Trees from Whisper White and Houses from Very Vanilla CS
-  Trees were adhered across Vellum Circle then Sleigh over it. Scissors were used to cut bottom and sides round again following the Vellum Circle on backside
-  Vanilla Houses were adhered to backside and bottom and sides were shaped again as well.

-  Vellum circle was placed on rim of inside of the ornament half, glitter was added and fine-tip glue was used to apply glue to ornament half to seal

Season of Pumpkins

Today I was mailing out one of the pumpkin mugs to my chemo person and thought I could use a somewhat matching card to send along...

Here is what I made:

This card is a smaller one with only 4 by 4 inches once folded..

The background was sponged and then images colored in with markers. To achieve the shading on the pumpkins, I've used the exact same marker, but colored over the same area in the image several times to make it darker...

Oh and here is a picture of the mug (front and back):

Now of course I am out of orange mugs, but could do a black mug with orange pumpkin if you wanted one... just sayin'  ;-)  You can order here.
