November Stamp and Sip (Texture Transfer Technique)

Hi there - I figured I'd better post now before I let a month go by yet again LOL. I thought it would be fun to start going through some of the old stamping techniques that I held classes on in the past. I picked the "Texture Transfer Technique". It's fun, messy and easy...

Here is the card (1 of 8... ) because we had so much fun playing ....

I decided to create a custom DSP piece and stamped randomly over it... and forgot to take a picture of the technique piece. Luckily I had made another one in a different color combo. Here you can see the texture pretty good I think:

Oh and wouldn't you know it... I even have the "old" video for you so you can see the demo. Mind you this was 10 years ago LOL. And if you need to cover the card in landscape, simply swipe your inks across the width... plus you don't have to use 3 ink colors!

October Stamp and Sip Cards

Last month for our Stamp and Sip online crafting we did a fun "technique" that makes 4 cards pretty fast!

You really just need a piece of white (or vanilla) CS, stamps and ink. You then stamp your images in a "cross pattern" in the center of the white/vanilla CS. I forgot to take a picture before cutting the page apart.  But this shows the stamped pattern well

And here you can see the cards in their correct orientation

Tip:
Even though I started out with a full 8 1/2 by 11 sheet, stamped it and then cut it down, I think it would be easier to  start with a sheet that measures 10 by 7 1/2, stamp and then cut apart. That way you don't' loose any of your pattern!

We had so much fun, I made more!

August Stamp and Sip

This month we played with the Shaving Cream Technique and made tons of colorful backgrounds.

Here is ONE of the pieces used on a card. For this piece, I actually used a piece of Designer Series Paper that is white and has gold dots...

I added Wink of Stella to the Butterfly on the bottom right... it's nice a shimmery in real!
