Best Birds and Pretty Paisleys

Today I made a quick card that was inspired by a card on Pinterest and I just changed it up a bit to make it my own.

Not a lot of stamping ;-) but very pretty... my kind of card lately! Love my white cardstock, can you tell?!

June 2016 Stamp-a-Stack: Card #1

This month for Stamp-a-Stack, I wanted to show just how versatile the stamp set/bundle "Swirly Bird" is... and used it for both cards.

Here is card #1:

and if the ladies felt like they wanted to add a little something to the card, they could do this:

This is our more feminine card for the month... please come back tomorrow to see the other card too.

Rose Garden (Card 2, February Stamp-a-Stack)

This card is the 2nd one of this month's Stamp-a-Stack and it's my favorite!

To achieve this look, we've die cut the rose from black scrap cardstock and used it as a stencil... meaning we placed it onto the white cardstock, held in place and then gently sponged the Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron inks over it. Once done we also sponged the outside empty spaces in Soft Sky...

I LOVE how this one turned out!

Here is a little video on how to do the sponging... in case you need a visual:

Rose Wonder (my swap)

While going through some of my pictures today, I noticed that I did not share my own swap card with you... Or so I think... Here it is:

If you look closely, you can see that I've used the clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on the small flower ;-)  Love that stuff!

Striped Scallop Thinlit is at it again

So I had some pieces left over from a project that I made a while back where I used several different colors as fillers in the Striped Scallop framilt frame. To refresh your memory, you can click here and view that card.

Here is what I came up with now:

I really like the clean look of this card... and even though I've used a retired color *gasp*, you can copy this style with ANY color..

NEW customer swap group

This month was the first month, we’ve tried out something new. One of my stampers that just recently moved to the area, mentioned she used to participate in monthly swaps and misses those. So I thought, let’s start up a group here. For that I’ve started a Facebook group, posted the info and took sign ups. The theme was “Feminine Birthday Cards” and were due in my hands on the 15th. The cards are swapped out and I can share the photos with you all to enjoy. The are in no specific order, only sorted by names… done by my computer… don’t forget, you can click on each sample to get a larger view!
