Hello glimmering Botanicals

As announced yesterday... I am back to share the card I made for my team meeting today.... Here it is:

And a close up on the custom dyed flower:

This time I used Cajun Craze ink with a sponge dauber to dye the Dazzling Details Glimmer Paper... Again... added clear embossing powder over it, then used heat tool to lock it all in..so easy -. LOVE it! Remember you can do the same technique to our glimmer Washi tape see the video posted here!

You might wonder why I didn't list the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper in the supply list... WELL, it is part of the BUNDLE.  How cool is that...

Oh and a little tip... the fern and the center layer of the flower are pretty delicate, so I use the precision plate to cut those out. This way all the little pieces cut completely and won't tear when removing them from the cardstock after cutting...

Botanicals Note Card

Today, while getting ready for my downline meeting tomorrow, I ended up with some extra pieces of cut flowers and leafs and of course had to put them to use... here is what I came up with:

The flower was die cut from our dazzling diamonds glimmer paper and then custom dyed with a sponge dauber and ink from the Calypso Coral ink pad...  I then dipped it in clear embossing powder and heat embossed it so the ink was set and would not smear later.

Herr is a closer look:

Come back tomorrow so you can see what we made at the meeting...

Custom dyed glitter tape

Today I sat out to do a little experiment!  One of my stamp club cards this month used custom dyed glitter tape. But the way I did it during club proofed that you had to be very careful as to not smudge the ink. So Mollie asked if we couldn't heat set it... and while that alone would not really do the trick one extra little step will do it!  So I did a little video to show how. Be sure to scroll down so you can see the video...

Here is the card that I made after the video:

BTW - The Glitter tape was sponged with Pacific Point ink... but it looks much lighter than the actual ink so I paired it with Marina Mist....

Here is my video:

Don't forget you can do the same thing with our glitter paper!
