Sorry for Everything - Cat Sympathy

This week one of our clients informed us of the passing of their old kitty... they wanted us to be prepared when we came in this week and we'd only see their dog.... so sad!

So I figured the least I could do is make a card to take over...

Now I used my retired heart framelits that I still have, but you could use the "Be Mine" Stitched Framelits just as well!

Happy Tails & Butterfly Gala - January Stamp-a-Stack

A while back one of my friends asked me to make some more Pet sympathy cards at stamp-a-stack. And I finally did, but also wanted to offer a version of the card with "non pet" feel...

Here is the dog card which could also be made with the cat punch + Nine Lives stamp set and different sentiment of course:

And here is the generic version of the card:

Happy Tails, not so happy

Well it's always sad if you need to make a sympathy card and it's not easier if it's a pet sympathy card... sadly this week I needed one...

It helped a tiny bit when I came across a sketch by another demonstrator and decided to use it as guidance today...

Tip about the circle on my card:
To create the ink smoosh background, the lighter color of ink was added to the silicone mat directly from the ink pad by smooshing it into the mat several times. The darker color was added randomly. Then it was spritzed with water. The glossy CS was placed into the mess, glossy side down and peeled back up. Lay flat if you like design or stand up to make ink run more... so much fun
