Bokeh Dots and In the Woods

... sure make for an easy Christmas card with a modern feel... especially when you use a not so traditional color like Highland Heather .... shout-out to my friend Kim for challenging me!

Here is the creation I came up with:


You may have to enlarge the photo to see the  "snow" glitter on the trees... I am so in love with the Ice glitter and the shimmery crystal effects holds it perfectly!

Winter Woods - fun color combo

So last week I participated in a color Challenge and came up with this card:



The options where these:


The larger circle represents the main color of the project... as you can see, I chose "B" and made it a non-traditional Christmas card ;-)

A lot of times we get stuck and reach for the same color combos that we are comfortable with.  I like to play along color challenges for that reason to learn of new combos and break free of the "old"... Why don't you give it a try... you might really like it!
