Tropical Chic

Today I used sponges for the emboss resist technique to create this fun background:

It's very easy! I first stamped the bold leaves in VersaMark ink and heat embossed in clear. Then I sponged 2 greens randomly... and then I stamped the more detailed leaves over the embossed ones... lastly I wiped off the in that was on the embossed images. If ink doesn't come off easy, you can use a little bit of rubbing alcohol or your stamping mist cleaner on a paper towel...

Amazing You - Watercolor Resist

Today I am going to share a swap card with you... it was created by fellow demo Jen J. and I love the soft look of the flower!

For the technique... she stamped the image in VersaMark and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder... then she lightly washed colors over the embossed image and kept it very subtle... It's so pretty!
