Notes to Self…

If you need to make lots of notes to yourself, like I do, then this neat Decor Element Piece is perfect for you!

ScreenHunter_01 Mar. 23 19.46

I really wanted to put mine on the wall by my cardstock, but that would have been too high for me to reach. So I’ve put it on a ceiling tile, that I had cut down a little first:

So now I can take it down to write on it and keep it up above my cardstock. Then when I am placing a supply order, I can take it to to computer :-) I LOVE it!

You may have overlooked it while going through the Sale-a-Bration Catalog. It is on Page 9! It can be yours for FREE with a $50 order… and you have time until the end of the month! I do have an order going in anyway on the 31st of March. So contact me if you don’t want to miss out…

The Last Decor Element Item

in this year’s Christmas gift series is a vase.

Here it is:

And since it has a little glare, I thought I’d share a close-up too:

All of these items were soooo easy to make and fun too!

I gave this vase with Poinsettias to my neighbor Christa and she put it on a table in her entrance so it get be seen by her visitors :-)

Now that I’m back, I will share hopefully a card a day again… At least I will “try”.

Until, tomorrow…

Santa’s Dishes?

Today I am sharing another Decor Element item with you. I simply applied them onto a plate and a cup. Granted, those dishes are more for decoration then actual use, but gentle hand cleansing should be just fine.

Here it is:

I think Santa would really love to get his snack served on them. So why don’t you make a set too?!

Frame #3

Can you believe it? We actually have some little snow flurries here in GA today! I am sure it won’t stay though…

To carry on with our Christmas decor series, I am going to show you frame #3 today:

Again, the background was created in “My Digital Studio” and the Christmas tree decor element was added to the outside of the glass.

Gotta love that wide striped ribbon! It’s PERFECT for items like that!

Frame #2

These posts are rather short and to the point, because I know you all are busy with Christmas preparations … And on to the 2nd frame we go – this was another hostess gift this month:

frame2

This is another example how to incorporate the “My Digital Studio” into every day crafting!

The polka dot background, label, sentiment and brads were created with the software and printed on my home printer. I then layered it onto Real Red CS, cut out a Top Note piece in Old Olive, cut it into half and adhered behind a white piece of CS, then layered onto the polka dot piece…

The decor elements stockings are applied to the outside of the glass for the shadow effect…

Back to baking some German Gingerbread (Lebkuchen)…

Enjoy your weekend!

Day’s Til Christmas

Today is the first post in the series of “Candy Cane Christmas” Decor Elements items.

I had gotten the real red sheet last month with the plan to make cute hostess gifts for December. I did that, but also made an item for ME!  :-)  That’s a first… I usually make the cute gifts and give them away, not this time…

The item I made, is a count-d0wn to Christmas Calendar. Here it is:

days til christmas decor

I’ve created the “backdrop” (white background with red tag, words, and the border on bottom) in “My Digital Studio”, printed it out and then layered onto Real Red CS. It’s inside one of the 8x10 plastic easel frames… The two red birds are the decor elements and were added to the outside of the frame so they would give a little shadow and look more dimensional.

Gifts like that are way easy to make, but so special…

Check back often as I’ll post several more of the items I’ve created and actually given away :-)
