The theme for this month’s customer swap cards was Fourth of July… OR if they didn’t have anything that specific that card had to be in Red/White/Blue!

For my downline meeting this month I made this card:
And few weeks ago we had card requests for some of our young service men and this is the version that I mailed out to one of them.
Note, I didn’t use the heart on the flag since I don’t know him all that well… I didn’t want to scare him 
I simply used my blender pen and doodled stars onto the inked up stamp and removed ink… Once stamped I drew over them with a sparkle pen.
Looking back, I like the version with the heart on it better, but only because I stamped off every other red strip and that helps the sentiment to come out better! A little distressing around the edges of the white layer, just gives it that rugged look that I wanted…
