Butterflies & Flowers

It is never fun to make a sympathy card, but they are needed and this month alone I had to make 2. 

Here is the first one... it was for the loss of a beloved pet.

I don't have a big variety of stamps with me in the rental during our move, but had gotten the "Butterflie & Flowers" Layering Decorative masks before we left.  So I used those with the blending brushes. I quickly figured out that I had to do the coloring in a bouncing motion, not rubbing... but it worked pretty easily.

Healing Hugs

I absolutely adore the polka dot cup from the "Cup of Christmas" stamp set and wanted to make a Get Well card with it....

I used the foam brayer, gold ink and mask to create the polka dot background... then stamped the greeting in black over it...
