I'll Bee Yours (Paper Pumpkin)

January's Paper Pumpkin Kit was geared towards Valentine's Day ...with the option of other stamps so you could use the little cards and treat bags for any occasion... I love that!

I changed mine up just a little... because I can LOL...and I am bringing the little treats to the VFW Valentine's dance tonight...

The little cards, I made into Thank you cards and used for stamp club orders...

The Paper Pumpkin kits sure do come handy as I always need Thank you  cards ;-)

Oh BTW - I hear next month we will get an extra stamp set for free with our kit... so don't hesitate and subscribe... You'll have util the 10th of March to do so!

About the FREE Stamp Set
  • The additional stamp set is a great value and coordinates with the March kit design; however, you do not need it to complete the March cards.
  • The additional stamp set is a 4x6 footprint, which is larger than most Paper Pumpkin sets and is designed for use on a variety of crafting projects.

Thank you for stopping by!

OSAT Blog Hop: Don't Go Breaking My Heart

Today I am hopping with the crew of "One Stamp at a Time" and the theme is Don't go breaking my heart... I chose to make a card and a treat holder for Valentine's Day!

Can you see that I used the cut out heart from the pizza box, embossed it and then used it on my card?

On the card I used one of the "Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate" sheets in "silver" and in the heart opening of the box I used it in "gold". Love our pretty window sheets!

Gotta have chocolates for Valentine's day!!!!

Love Sparkles

Well I have to admit that I've totally overlooked the stamp set "Love Sparkles" in the occasions catalog. I am glad I got the card below in our demo swap because I like the whimsical font...

Love Notes

February is almost here... so I thought I'd better share a Valentine's Day card before I forget...

This swap card was created by fellow demo Sandra C.
I really liked that she didn't only use reds and pinks and added the Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope you all are having a nice Valentine's Day and got to do something fun with your sweetie...

Speaking of sweetie, I made a really quick gift box for mine! He loves taffy and I didn't want to just hand over the bag like that... so I made a box:

Nothing too fancy, but I knew he'd appreciate the treat inside more than the box ... LOL

BTW - here is a little reminder that you don't have to stamp the 2 hearts individually! I put both on ONE clear block so I could stamp them at the same time:

Oh and I also made a little 3x3 card to go inside the box:

I am sure glad I have the gift box punch board - it does come in very handy! And it's easy to use...

ICS Blog Hop It's A Love Thing

This month's theme for our blog hop is "It's a Love thing". With Valentines Day just around the corner it's the perfect place to get some inspiration.

Now I am not someone that loves pink, so I knew that color was out for me ;-) AND I wanted to do a more modern card this time... so let's see what I came up with:

And I have to admit I am "in love" with this card! Sometimes it's really hard to make one-layer cards, but this one came together easy. I hope this card will inspire you..

Please be sure to hop through all posts to see what the other talented ladies are sharing with us. Next up is Anna Smith and she always has the neatest projects!

Grand Vacations Achievers Blog Hop - All you need is Love

I really missed playing along last month but it was just to hectic due to the holiday and I was a bit swamped with my pet sitting duties and I had to skip participating. But I am back this month!

Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for January. This month our theme is "All you need is Love". We are sure you will find great inspiration from the projects that you are about to see.

If you are reading my blog in an email, please be sure to click over to my blog to see the hop list on the very bottom.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Claudia Perry or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Claudia Perry.

I have to admit that I don't really care for the "traditional" pink and red Valentines color combinations... so I went a slightly different route and used Blackberry Bliss and Blushing Bride!

I really want to point out that it is so very easy to match colors with all of our offerings. See instinctively, I wanted to use Candy Dots in Blackberry Bliss... BUT we don't have them since that color is in the In-Color group. So I pulled out the Candy Dots anyways and looked that the ones in Rich Razzleberry and they "go" with it very well... Problem solved!

A little tip to inlay the heart:

I placed the Blushing Bride heart into the Blackberry Bliss "frame". Then flipped it over and added little strips of "Tear & Tape" in areas that I could use like a bridge between the heart and frame to keep the heart attached...

Blog Hop Line up... have fun hopping:

Bloomin' Love

O-M-G !!!!  The Bloomin' Heart Thinlit is to die for! I made this super simple card right fast so you can see what I mean:

You might be a little scared of it because of all the fine detail. But let me assure you, no need for it. I used it in combination of the Precision Base Plate and it through 3 rolls (=forward, back, forward). And then used my trusty little brush and mat on it. And most all of the pieces came right out. I only had to flick off a few more. I AM impressed!

November Stamp-a-Stack, part 2

As announced yesterday, I am back today to show you card 2 of this month's Stamp-a-Stack and all of it's options (in case someone didn't need anymore Christmas cards)...

Here they are:

Here is how I did it:

-        To create the mask, the tree was stamped onto any color CS for approx. placement, then the leaf was die-cut over it
-        Mask was then places over white layer CS of same size and masking tape was folded around top left and bottom right to secure sandwich. Some masking tape was placed over the opening of the "stem" to cover it up
-        The leaf opening was then sponged in with 3 colors per card, always go from light to dark. Be careful when sponging over delicate parts of the opening, you may have to dab
-        Mask was removed and tree stamped in Early Espresso over it
