Hello Cupcake - February Stamp-a-Stack

Card #2 for this month's stamp-a-stack session used the ""Hello Cupcake" stamp set... AND... wait for it.... the matching framelits that will become available next month!

I wanted to make a birthday card that could be used for men, women or kids and think this one would do that... we even used additional colors... (melon mambo, pacific point, gorgeous grape and pumpkin pie) and they all turned out great! We stamped the icing in the same color as the colored cardstock layer but kept the rest the same... so easy!

Celebrate Today... with a Sketch

I've had a pretty busy day today and didn't get a chance to play in my craft room until late this evening... So I wanted to make easier on me and hoped to find a good sketch... I did! Let me show you my card first though:

And you know what else makes a quick card?  Using Designer Series Papers! I used it for the background and then simply used the colors from the pattern for my image and layers.

It came out cuter than I imagined it... so I am happy with it!

Here is the sketch #GDP058 - Supplied by the "Global Design Project"

Be sure to check out the samples posted by the design team as well as fellow "players"... and maybe even play along as well. You can find it here!

June 2016 Stamp-a-Stack: Card #2

Today's card is the 2nd one from this month's Stamp-a-Stack and uses the "Swirly Bird" stamp set again, but in a totally different way!

See how easy it is to make cards for any occasion with this set:

I am not sure that you can see it in the picture, but we added a little bit of clear wink of Stella to the striped areas of the kite on the left and also to the bows of the kit on the right...

Balloon Builder

Today's card is a swap card that features the stamp set "Balloon Builders" from the occasions catalog...

This pretty card was created by my demo friend Selene K.

I love the glimmer on it and how the balloons just seem to fly across. It's such a happy card!
Did you see in the catalog what fun creatures can be created with this set?
See:

So creative and adorable. It's a great set if you have kids in your life!

Last Paint Sample...

... for a while - I promise! Though I have to admit I really had fun challenging myself to come up with different ways to use those little treasures.

I cut the strip into 3 of different lengths and banner punched the ends using the Hexagon punch... and spaced apart... I think it's a fun look. Speaking of fun, look at that rhinestone:

It matches the Bermuda Bay CS and ink... because I (ahem.. ... whisper...) used my Bermuda Bay Blendabilities... and if you don't have them, you can use a sharpie marker!

Paper Pumpkin: Birthday Bundle

Here is a collage that shows you the cards that I made with the most recent Paper Pumpkin Kit.

I took a picture of the instructions pamphlet so you can see that not only does it come with 6 cards, but also 4 gift bags... and of course all the supplies to make them as pictured here!

This picture below shows the card made exactly like the instructions told me to:

But then of course I had to put my own spin on it and made the other 5 cards slightly different, by simply adding some extra cardstock, punched butterflies and pearls and candy dots. Still VERY simple and easy just stepped up a little bit with items most of us already have in the house ...

Those cards came together very fast even with my little changes and will be great to have on hand ;-) My supply list below will list Paper Pumpkin subscription options (in case you would like to try one out and add to an order...) and also the refill kit for this bundle. The refill can only be ordered from current Paper Pumpkin Subscribers as a little added on perk...

I really had fun making these cards and the bright colors made smile... hope they do the same to you!

Happy stamping...

April Stamp-a-Stack, Card 2 = Celebrate Today

As promised yesterday, I am here to show you card number 2 for this month's Stamp-a-Stack. BTW, we are making them right now!

Here is the Collage of all the versions:

And since the card are so much fun, I thought I should share the larger pictures as well:

These all use the same card base and DSP stack! The only difference is the little strip on the left to make it work with the Balloon... You too, can whip out a whole stack of cards, especially following this example ;-) Have fun stamping!
